​Quincy Carroll is the author of Up to the Mountains and Down to the Countryside and Unwelcome. He is a former Artist in Residence at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai, holds a B.A. from Yale University, and studied in the Writing, Literature & Publishing M.F.A. program at Emerson College.

​Originally from Boston, MA, he currently lives in Oakland, CA.
